Doesnt let me select Braintree payment gateway when creating an invoice. Says invalid payment Gateway. Please fix.
Review update: A few more days in and I noticed saving time sheet details slowed back down again. I like the layout improvements, but its taking a really long time for me save my hours! The load icon just rotates for minutes. Im going to go back to using the desktop version until a new update comes out:[ ------first look------- I was hoping and wishing for time tracker improvements. This update made my dreams come true. I cant wait to work more hours with the new timer! Weird, right? Thanks, Freshbooks!
Every time I try to send an invoice since the " upgrade" it says cant complete. Error 500. Making it impossible to invoice my clients now. Big screw up.
It is ok, but if you edit an invoice the app will crash
The App has allowed my company and employees do our job faster and improved our productivity. Fresh books continues to surprise us with updates that surprisingly always seem to be what were thinking they need and they listen very well by implementing them overtime
I use this service to invoice dozens of clients for my service, but as of the most recent update, Im looking to move to something else. Every time I try to edit an invoice in the app, the app either crashes or says that there is an "invalid gateway". So...unless I just want to look at invoices, the app serves no purpose. The primary advantage to this service was the ability to make these changes on the fly. Ill give it another week, then its on to quickbooks, I guess. =
I cant add more than one recipient to my outgoing invoices. Not good for husband/wife clients. No back out button for mistakes.. Disappointed with the update so far.
I have based three businesses around the features of Freshbooks and cant imagine life without them! So as a service, they are stellar! This app has come a long way, to say the least. It is gorgeous and delightful to use. However, it is stripped down to basics, and doesnt offer all the features from the desktop, which does annoy on some level but I cant really complain. It does what I need on the go, but would be *the best* if I didnt always have to wait to be on the desktop. But after using Freshbooks for several years now I know its probably just a matter of time before the app has the features I need.
a must for anyone who hates to do their billing. Just record your time, and the technology do it for you.
Fresh Books has served me well for five years now and part of what makes my experience great is the iOS mobile apps for iPhone and iPad. I use the nearest device or PC at any given time to get time in and generate invoices when needed.
Great customer support and my favorite is the time keeping clock feature on the app.
I use tickets for existing clients. Sometimes those tickets end up being a time tracked project. Tickets and projects need to be more integrated not just on the app, but the site as well. I use a browser on my device due to the app not providing ticket access. I document, document, document and the power tickets provide being integrated more naturally with projects would be awesome ... but Id be happy if the app simply gave ticket access to begin with and would be happy to be patient as ticket to project integration overall was improved.
We had been using quick books for about 12 years until we got turned into Freshbooks... Havent looked back. Its terrific!
This used to be a great app. However, for a long time now, its impossible to mark an invoice as paid. The app hangs on "creating payment" and j have to force it to quit. This happens EVERY time. The app is useless, and I have to use the website to get anything done.

These guys have really worked hard on this new version of the app and its great. I am using it all the time.
It could be better but for the most part its fine. I cannot update and send invoices sometimes and that really is the reason I downloaded the app. I think they need to make the app somewhat resemble the website showing totals and dates and times of when the invoice was viewed. Overall its a 6-7 out of ten to me.
Deciding to use Freshbooks back in 2009 has made me money since day one. It the the service I recommend to other small business who are tired of QB all the time. The apps are as great as the service and people!
This was just what I was looking for as I do freelance design. I can easily set up clients and send invoices, track where payments are at, send reminders, etc. Plus its really affordable. If you ever have questions or concerns their CS team responds very quickly and friendly too.
